Trading journal · since the mask went on

Calm trading is a skill, not a mood.

I'm the Mask. I write about how I approach markets: the plan before the trade, the risk before the plan, and the notes I take after. No hype, no promises. Just the process.

The market doesn't owe you a trade.

Three words

Analysis. Risk. Discipline.

The order matters. Most people spend all their time on the first word. The other two decide whether you are still trading next year.

Analysis

I start with the higher time frame and the calendar. If I can't explain a level in one sentence, I don't trade it.

Risk

Every idea gets an exit before an entry. Position size comes from the stop, never from how confident I feel.

Discipline

Two sessions a day, a checklist before each trade and a journal entry after. Boring on purpose.

Short lessons

Twenty seconds, one idea.

The short videos are where most people meet the Mask. Each one has a longer journal entry behind it.

The story so far

Milestones that weren't about money.

The achievements I'm proud of are habits. Here's how the journal turned into this blog.

  1. Chapter 1Trading without a plan

Early on, I entered because price was moving. I exited because I got scared. The journal from that time is short and painful.

  2. Chapter 2The first written plan

One page: entry reason, invalidation, size. It felt slow. It was the first time my decisions were readable the next day.

  3. Chapter 3Two sessions, not twenty hours

I cut screen time to the London and New York sessions. Fewer trades, clearer head, better notes.

  4. Chapter 4The mask

I started posting with a mask so the conversation stays on the method, not on the person or the screenshots.

  5. Chapter 5BWG Hub

The journal turned into this blog and a free Telegram channel, so other traders can follow the process in public.
