Analysis, risk, discipline: the order matters
Most people spend 90% of their time on analysis. In my experience, the other two decide whether you're still here next year.
If you've watched my short videos, you've heard the three words. Here's why I always say them in that order, and why the last one is the hardest.
Analysis gets you an idea
Analysis is the fun part. Levels, structure, the calendar. It gives you a reason to look. It doesn't tell you what happens next, and it never will.
Risk turns the idea into a plan
Risk is where an idea becomes something you can execute: where it's wrong, how big, what you accept losing. Same chart, different size, completely different outcome.
Discipline is doing it on a bad day
Anyone can follow a plan when they feel good. Discipline is following it after three losses, or after a win that makes you feel invincible.
That's why my routine is fixed: same sessions, same checklist, same journal template. Fewer decisions left to mood.
